Meta Platforms announces the launch of the “Meta Compute” program, aimed at building artificial intelligence infrastructure and managing global data centers. Following the announcement, the company's stock price dropped nearly 2%. CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the project will be co-led by Santosh Jadan and Daniel Gross, accelerating investments in cutting-edge artificial intelligence and personal superintelligence. The company plans to build several gigawatts of data center capacity within this decade and has appointed Dina Powell McCormick to lead strategic planning. Although the stock price fell to around $642, most analysts still maintain a “Buy” rating, with a target price of up to $935.
