Bitmine Names Young Kim as COO and CFO in Leadership Shake-Up

Young Kim, an investment strategist from Axiom Investors where he held partner and senior portfolio manager responsibilities, is stepping into dual roles as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately.

Reporting directly to Board Chairman Thomas “Tom” Lee, Kim brings over a decade of institutional investment experience to the position. His track record includes a substantial tenure at Columbia Threadneedle Investments as a senior portfolio manager, where he honed expertise in portfolio management and strategic capital allocation.

The appointment marks a notable shift in Bitmine’s operational structure, bringing seasoned investment and financial leadership to the organization.
