This afternoon, an impatient old colleague of mine didn't attend the meeting. When a similarly impatient middle manager discovered this, he called him to the office. When the two met, it was like Mars colliding with Earth—within less than a minute, they were arguing fiercely, with the entire corridor echoing with the voices of two loud personalities. During the argument, there was also the sound of an old colleague banging on the table. I was listening from the adjacent office, stunned, and those who didn't know might have thought they had a deep-seated grudge against each other.

I have to say, studying is quite useful. My old colleague, being a PhD and a professor, is considered a high-level talent. Over the years, he has argued with middle management by banging on the table several times. But as long as he doesn't break the law, he's not afraid of being fired—his salary remains unchanged. Impressive!
