The Ethereum ecosystem delivered an impressive report card in 2025. According to the latest data disclosed by the official, the total value locked (TVL) in the DeFi sector has exceeded $99 billion, more than 9 times higher than the second-largest public chain, highlighting a clear ecosystem advantage.

The stablecoin market also performed strongly. Throughout last year, the stablecoin settlement volume on Ethereum reached an astonishing $18.8 trillion, fully demonstrating Ethereum's dominant position as a settlement platform.

Even more noteworthy is the performance upgrade of Layer 2. Currently, transaction fees for Rollup solutions on the network have dropped below $0.01, significantly improving user experience. Meanwhile, the average TPS of all Rollups on the network has surpassed 5600 for the first time, breaking previous records, which means that Ethereum's ecosystem throughput has entered a new stage.

At the institutional level, ETFs and strategic reserves together hold a total of 3.5 million relevant assets, with institutional adoption continuing to deepen.

ETH's data is indeed impressive, but the real dividends will start to be realized with L2. --- 9x advantage? Okay, just worried about being caught up by clone chains. --- 18.8 trillion in stablecoin volume... now that's real gold and silver. --- $0.01 transaction fee, I previously paid high gas fees in vain. --- 56,000 TPS breaking records, no more complaints about Ethereum congestion. --- Institutional holdings of 3.5 million coins, this reflects institutional confidence. --- Layer2 has really taken off; is now the time to enter? --- The second generation of Bitcoin is being ground down, ETH ecosystem's resilience is different. --- Stablecoins are the true king; they will always dominate settlement. --- This report card is even more impressive than I imagined, but could it be just a flash in the pan?

Wow, layer 2 fees are now down to 0.01, this is the true face of ETH.

Really? L2 fees below $0.01? Why am I still getting "scammed" by gas fees --- 990 billion TVL crushing other public chains, but what I care about is when I can break even haha --- TPS exceeds 5600... sounds good, but how's the on-chain interaction experience? Good data doesn't necessarily mean it's user-friendly --- The settlement scale of 18.8 trillion stablecoins is a bit exaggerated, but it definitely shows Ethereum's dominance --- Institutions are accumulating, and so am I. Let's get on board together --- L2 is up, which is good news, but I'm worried about new OP and Arbitrum competing for traffic again --- This data looks great, but my wallet is still hungry --- Wait, 3.5 million assets? That's a pretty significant holding --- Complaints aside, the Ethereum ecosystem is indeed stable, no worries --- DeFi TVL has doubled many times, is it a bubble? I need to think about it

990 billion TVL crushes other public chains, but I'm still a bit worried about centralization risk given the low fees on L2.

Let me calm down. A ninefold gap? That's almost like beating someone up while they're hanging.

No way, has the L2 fee really dropped below 0.01? Now those who are trapped can breathe a sigh of relief, haha.

I'm overwhelmed. The data hype around the ETH ecosystem is too intense. Is the 18.8 trillion stablecoin settlement volume real or fake?

Damn, L2 fees dropping to $0.01 is really amazing. The days of being gouged by gas fees are finally over.

990 billion TVL sounds great, but I just want to ask, how much liquidity is left near the liquidation price? A costly lesson for everyone.

Wow, Layer 2 has really taken off. A gas fee of $0.01 instantly outperforms other chains.
