How high is the barrier to entry in Web3? To be honest, ordinary people can totally do it, but the prerequisite is to use your brain. Blindly rushing in without a plan won't work here—finding methods, identifying risks, and relying on learning and rationality are what qualify you to get involved.

First, let's dispel a common misconception: Web3 is not exclusively for tech elites. Blockchain development is just one part; content creation, community management, and project research are equally needed, just like in the internet ecosystem where, besides programmers, there are editors and operators. Beginners actually have an advantage—you can view problems from a user perspective, which is especially valuable in decentralized communities.

The real hurdle lies in cognitive gaps. The logic of Web3 is completely reversed from traditional internet. You need to abandon the mindset that traffic is king and shift to community consensus thinking; no longer rely on platform endorsements, but depend on the transparency of smart contracts. This isn't something you can cross over by just buying a few tokens or finding a hot project; you need to start with foundational learning.

Building your understanding isn't that complicated. Start with basic questions like "What exactly is blockchain?" or "How do Bitcoin and Ethereum differ?" and quickly build your knowledge framework through popular science explanations. Stay away from those flashy quick courses, and don't fall into paid pump-and-dump schemes. The most reliable way is to learn actively and think independently.

Once your understanding is sufficient, it's time to trade time cost for capital cost and try things out. Zero-commission airdrops are the smoothest way to get started: either produce content to build influence, join communities as a volunteer, or learn data analysis. Or participate directly in quality project zero-commission activities—follow, share, interact on testnets. Completing these tasks can earn you tokens for free, with no principal risk.

But some things are off-limits. Avoid schemes like capital pools promising high returns with capital protection and recruitment; leaking private keys is a complete disaster; chasing price surges and panic selling is a classic way to lose money; and finally, don't be fooled by certain copycat organizations claiming they will airdrop for you if you pay a deposit—100% scams.

Ultimately, Web3 is not a fast lane for easy money. It welcomes beginners but rejects those looking for shortcuts. First, fill in your knowledge gaps, then try and error to find your place. Those who truly dedicate themselves to learning will have the opportunity.

Hey, this article is quite practical and more reliable than those who boast about "getting rich overnight" every day. Airdrops are definitely the easiest way to get started; anyway, the time cost is just a matter of losing some energy, with no significant capital pressure. The part about private key leaks is really harsh; I've seen too many older brothers directly get their accounts cleared, which is a bit scary. I agree that beginners can do this, but the premise is that you really need to understand it yourself—don't expect someone to pave the way for you. Stay far away from pyramid schemes that recruit people; I know a few who got caught and are still paying off debts now.

Here we go again with this set of arguments. It sounds convincing, but among ten people who truly focus on learning, maybe one is doing well. I just want to see how those newbies who start from zero end up supporting themselves in the end.

I've been doing zero-claim airdrops for half a year. To be honest, it's just a game of probability, but not losing money is really true.

Honest truth, people who don't learn come to Web3 just to make money, I've seen too many of them. Zero-earning is the right path; everything else is just a scheme to cut leeks. Why do some still hope to get rich overnight? They need to clear their minds. Cognition is indeed the most important part; most people are stuck here. The advantage of beginners is well said, platform thinking really needs to be shattered and rebuilt. Private keys are not to be taken lightly; one mistake and it's game over. Relying on self-learning and self-realization, shortcuts are basically traps. Web3 is originally a test of human nature; lazy people should not come.

Exactly right, but too many people get brainwashed when they hear about free rewards, truly believing that freeloading tokens will make them rich... and as a result, a bunch of people get scammed out of their deposits.

The core is actually the difference in ROI logic. Zero-cost mining revenue may seem lower, but the advantage is no principal risk, which is truly a rational strategy. From the perspective of difficulty adjustment cycles, those who are now entering to improve their understanding have indeed chosen the right timing. I deeply agree with this point. Half a year ago, I was also a beginner, first spending time on airdrops, and only later realizing that on-chain data analysis is the real core competitiveness. Thinking back to a few projects I missed out on in the past, without exception, they were due to insufficient understanding and chasing high to buy in. Fortunately, over the past two years, I have focused on learning technical analysis. Basically, it's a matter of investment return cycles. It's not about being the fastest; it depends on mining efficiency.
