Half of the VFC positions are locked in profits, while the remaining holdings are continued to be held. This split strategy allows for protecting existing gains while leaving enough exposure to participate in subsequent rallies. The key is balancing risk and reward — the first half promises to secure profits, while the second half maintains room for market opportunities. Many traders steadily accumulate in choppy markets this way, neither being overly greedy nor exiting too early.

This wave of 50-50 split position strategy does have some merit to it. Staying disciplined without being greedy or timid, just holding it like this.

Cutting it in half really is a task, just worried that in the second half, the "imagination space" will eventually be imagined as a loss...

I'm familiar with this trick, half the position takes profit, half the position fights, just afraid that the night is long and dreams are many.

I've seen this half-cut strategy too many times; the key still depends on how much it can rise afterward.
