I'm skeptical of developers who dismiss or trash-talk AI-assisted coding. Here's why:

Before AI tools emerged, learning to code was a multi-year grind, and talented devs who could automate workflows commanded serious respect and opportunity. The barrier to entry was brutal.

Today's reality? That barrier keeps dropping. AI-powered development platforms are fundamentally democratizing the space. More people can build, ship, and iterate faster. Rather than gatekeeping innovation, we should recognize this as leveling the playing field.

Skepticism makes sense if you built your edge on scarcity. Excitement should win if you believe in opportunity expansion. The choice reflects how you see the future—contraction or growth.

ngl this is the dividing line between winners and losers. Those guys who criticize AI programming are probably just benefiting from the dividends and don't want to share. AI tools are just the new era's autocomplete. Those who refuse them will eventually be eliminated; there's no point in arguing. To put it simply, the era of relying on scarcity to be the boss is over. Now, it's about who can run faster.

In simple terms, some people have benefited from the scarcity of programming and are now panicking. --- AI coding has really changed the game; those developers criticizing it probably fear losing their jobs. --- The logic is clear: either you believe in growth or you believe in decline—there's no middle ground. --- Democratizing programming sounds good, but real competitiveness still depends on thinking... Whether to use AI is actually a minor issue. --- The words sound nice, but is that really the case? Large companies haven't widely adopted AI coding yet. --- This viewpoint is interesting. On the other hand, why are some people so resistant to AI programming? --- "Gatekeeping innovation" is spot on; it definitely has the vibe of old-school developers.

ngl, those guys who oppose AI coding are probably just afraid of losing their jobs. Don't pretend to be pure developers. AI is basically a new automation tool. The big players before also climbed up using automation scripts. Why is no one saying anything? Gatekeeping innovation perfectly captures this situation.
