RWA has been a hot topic in the past two years, with projects on-chain US debt and US stock tokenization also emerging in clusters. But honestly, whether these applications can really take off depends on one word—speed.

Imagine institutions holding hundreds of millions of dollars, with slow settlement processes and frequent congestion in stablecoin transfers. Why would they participate? That’s the ceiling for most RWA projects.

For this reason, I am optimistic about public chains that genuinely address on-chain settlement and transaction speed issues. They are not just storytelling, but solving the critical challenge needed for RWA to truly land.

Basically, if TPS isn't good enough, everything else is pointless. Speed is the key, everything else is superficial. Institutions are focused on this; traffic congestion really discourages them. RWA is hot, but lagging is indeed a dead end. Public chains that solve speed issues are the real key question. If settlement is slow, institutional funds simply can't flow in; that's a hard flaw. No matter how many stories you tell, it's useless; real solutions are needed to improve TPS. The ceiling is the ceiling; if it can't be faster, nothing can be moved.
