WSJ: Becoming a Beneficiary of Trump's "Informal Pardon" Market Price Revealed at Millions of Dollars



The Wall Street Journal reported that "becoming one of the beneficiaries of a new, informal presidential pardon pathway that emerged during Trump's second term."

According to sources close to Trump, this new practice is partly driven by Trump's own experience as a criminal defendant, giving rise to a "pardon trading" industry. Lobbyists claim their market price is million dollars.

It is also revealed that those seeking pardons pay some lobbyists closely connected to the president up to @E5@ million dollars in success fees, on the condition that they can get the job done.
