I've heard too many stories of people wanting to go all-in with just a few hundred yuan to turn their lives around, and the ending is always the same—liquidation. But have you ever thought that this isn't a matter of luck, but that the entire trading approach is wrong?
A friend who trades spot markets started with 1,200 yuan and within three weeks grew it to 25,000, and now his account is steadily above 38,000. The key point is—no liquidation at all throughout the process, all based on this method.
**Tip 1: Money should be divided into three parts—survive first, then think about making money**
1,200 yuan isn't a sum to go all-in with; it should be split like this:
Three portions of 400 yuan each, each doing a different task. The first portion is for intraday short-term trades, focusing on one trade per day, aiming for 2%-4%. Once achieved, close the position immediately, shut down the software, and never hold a position overnight. The second portion is for swing trading, waiting for BTC or other assets to break through key resistance levels on the daily chart, or fall below support levels, entering with a stop-loss order. Exit once the market moves more than 8%. The third portion is for permanent holding—used as a "resurrection fund," regardless of how wild the market gets, just hold steady.
What's the benefit of this? Your mindset changes completely. If one part loses, the other two are still there, preventing dreams from shattering.
**Tip 2: Most of the time is for consolidation; reckless trading just pays fees**
If BTC consolidates sideways for more than three days, the best move is to shut down the software. Feeling itchy to trade? That’s just giving money to the exchange. Wait until volume breaks out of the range or the price stabilizes above the 30-day moving average, then enter with a stop-loss.
Profit exceeds 15% of the principal? Take out 25% immediately and transfer it to a cold wallet. Don’t wait for a market wave to wipe out all your gains. If you can hold back normally, then when you trade, you must make a profit.
**Tip 3: Strict rules—reject any thoughts of changing the plan**
Before opening a position, write down three rules and strictly follow them, with no exceptions:
Set stop-loss at 1.5%. Once hit, cut immediately—don’t wait for a rebound. Take profit once it exceeds 3%, and close half the position, with the remaining position trailing a stop to lock in gains. On losing days, never add to your position to average down—that’s just digging a deeper hole.
Small capital is never the problem; the real killer is rushing to get rich overnight. Starting with 1,200 yuan to grow to 25,000 isn’t about perfect predictions; it’s about risk management that refuses to die, combined with patience for probability.
If you still lose sleep over a few cents of price movement, it’s better to master these three core strategies first. Remember—slow is the fastest way; stability is what makes the snowball grow bigger and bigger.
