1. Anyone (including labs) can build their own front end on top of the Aave protocol by definition.
2. @aave front end has always been owned by Aave labs and therefore labs can switch the swap provider to a superior MEV protected dex at will
3. Nothing has changed apart from the swap provider.
If the DaO wants to make a bid for labs assets in an arms length transaction, the DaO needs to set up a legal entity and hire a lawyer and corpdev to negotiate a deal.
