Here's the recent thought process: US stocks plummeted, broke support levels, and I opened short positions during the rebound. I was building positions in batches—shorted one at 45, another at 91. As soon as I entered the short, it took off immediately. I shorted two at 3022, set a stop-loss at the same level, and watched as the price hovered around 3000 but couldn't break below. When it reached 3005, I took profit on the two added positions by doing a T+ exit! I feel like 2980 will have support and a rebound, so I plan to hit the stop-loss around 3030 after a wave up. Many people have stop-loss orders around 3030, so I took a small loss and cut my position. Just as I cut, the price dropped smoothly! No choice—made a mistake, took a small loss and exited. I can accept that!
