Recently, CZ came out again saying that Bitcoin is about to hit new highs, and even Musk has started talking about BTC publicly, which is rare. Neither of these two is the type to casually hype things up. Especially Musk—he has a very clear pattern: he never makes predictions in advance; he only speaks out when the trend is already set and irreversible. The reason is simple: he doesn't need to buy the dip; he just needs to push the established trend a bit further and heat up market sentiment.
What major players fear most is when top figures from the tech world jump in. Once they get involved, the original market cycle often gets extended. So, the moves of these people are actually a barometer for where big money is flowing.
Looking at CZ’s statement, "soon there will be more all-time highs," some might think it's just regular hype. But if you check the history, you'll find that after his previous four public predictions of Bitcoin reaching new highs, BTC experienced a major rally each time: once in December 2020, once in December 2024, once in June 2025, and just yesterday, another one in December 2025.
To be honest, the wildest phase for Bitcoin isn’t at the start or mid-way up, but at the tail end of a bull market. According to some analysts, if you use $80,000 as the baseline, BTC could still have another 150%-200% room to grow. Looking back at the previous two cycles, the increases were 120% and 70%, respectively.
But altcoins don’t necessarily have to wait for BTC to reach $120,000 before they take off. Every time Bitcoin corrects, it’s actually a window for capital to reposition. In the last cycle, Ethereum soared from $1,400 to $5,000 precisely while BTC was dropping. This kind of capital rotation happens over and over in every bull market.
