Gold Finance reports that on April 30th, according to PeckShield monitoring, Wasabi Protocol allegedly experienced an administrator private key leak incident, resulting in approximately 5.5 million USD worth of assets being stolen across multiple chains including ETH, Base, Blast, and Bera. On-chain data shows that the attacker added a malicious address as a contract administrator through a single transaction. Wasabi Protocol previously posted on social media that they had become aware of the issue, are investigating, and advised users not to interact with their contracts for now, with further updates to be released later.
