There are plenty of options for those who want to start cloud mining, but finding the reliable one is difficult. Last month, I faced the same question and examined some platforms more closely during my research.
NiceHash is always recommended by everyone, and there are good reasons for that. The platform, which has been in the market since 2014, offers a flexible structure for both selling and buying hash rate. It's not bad for beginners, but there are other options better suited for those with more specific needs.
For example, Bitdeer is supported by a company listed on NASDAQ, which provides a bit more confidence. The platform was founded by Jihan Wu, the creator of Bitmain, and it designs its own hardware and operates data centers. They have facilities in the US, Norway, and Asia. It seems more suitable for serious miners.
Older platforms like Genesis Mining and BSVCloud are still operational. Genesis Mining has served over 2 million people since 2013. BSVCloud uses solar energy, which is interesting from an environmental perspective. DNSBTC focuses on short-term contracts, making it an alternative for those who want to mine for just a few days or weeks.
SWL Miner, ECOS, Hashing24, StormGain, and GMiners similarly target their niche markets. For example, StormGain offers free mining through a mobile app, but expectations should be kept modest. ECOS focuses on longer-term contracts and has support from the Armenian government.
In conclusion, the platform you choose depends on your goal. If you want short-term, low-risk mining, DNSBTC or StormGain are good options. For serious, long-term mining, Bitdeer, ECOS, or Genesis Mining make more sense. Flexible platforms like NiceHash are also available. It’s best to do your own research and compare platform plans before investing.
