CZ: I have no connection whatsoever with the Trump family and am willing to help the US become a crypto capital.

On December 4, during the “KOL and Media Interaction” session, CZ responded to the question about “receiving a pardon from Trump, whether there are any plans to start any form of business in the US, and whether there will be any cooperation with the Trump family,” saying: “First, I want to clarify that I have no relationship whatsoever with the Trump family. I am very grateful to President Trump for granting me a pardon; this has indeed allowed us to conduct business more freely around the world, including in the US. Personally, I am completely willing to help make the US a crypto capital. Additionally, for us, the US is actually becoming a ‘new frontier.’ Because in the past few years, we have dealt extensively with the previous US administration (the Biden administration) in the US market, to the point that we tried to withdraw from the US market as much as possible and minimize our association with the US. We avoided any US business ties, did not invest in the US, and exited as comprehensively as possible. We do still have CEX US, but its business scale is currently very small. I remember in 2023, on the very day we were sued by the SEC, CEX US’s market share was about 35%, but now it’s just a tiny fraction of a percent—almost negligible. Afterwards, they lost all banking services and their last few state-level licenses. But now, my understanding is that everything is completely open. So the US is an extremely important market. It is a global leader in tech talent, AI, and many other technology fields. It’s just that in the blockchain space, the current leaders are not in the US, and the biggest companies are not truly based in the US in terms of technology and operations. Therefore, I hope to help bring these businesses back to the US. At the same time, many US investors, especially institutional investors, currently have no access to or channels to learn about BNB or projects in the BNB ecosystem. We also hope to help in this regard. So, all of the above is currently open. I am indeed fully willing to support the US crypto industry, including investing, supporting startups, and helping projects in the BNB Chain ecosystem, etc.”
