Gate News bot news, encryption asset management company 3iQ announced on Wednesday that it has launched an XRP exchange-traded fund on the Toronto Stock Exchange (ETF).

3iQ XRP ETF ( TSX: XRPQ) has a management fee of 0% for the first six months and can be invested in through Canadian registered accounts. The company is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and qualified investors globally can participate, but must comply with local regulations.

Earlier this week, asset management firm Purpose Investments announced that its XRP spot ETF will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (ticker symbol XRPP) on Wednesday.

3iQ is one of the first fund management companies to launch a Bitcoin fund that is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange; at the same time, 3iQ is also the first fund management company to launch an Ethereum fund listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It is worth mentioning that Ripple is an early investor in the 3iQ XRPQ investment tool (the investment amount has not been disclosed).
