On March 23, Resolv's stablecoin USR suffered a major security incident. Attackers exploited a private key leak to mint approximately 80 million dollars in unbacked tokens, causing USR's price to collapse to $0.27, a decline exceeding 70%. Resolv has suspended smart contracts and destroyed 9 million anomalous tokens, while 71 million unbacked USR tokens remain in circulation. This incident reflects the vulnerability of stablecoins in terms of security and transparency, and poses challenges to market confidence.

Gate News reports that on March 23, a certain CEX listed Resolve (RESOLV) as a trading caution symbol. Once designated as a trading caution symbol, the exchange typically conducts a detailed review of the digital asset to determine whether to extend the caution period, remove the caution, or ultimately terminate trading support.

Since 2026, at least 15 security attack incidents have occurred in the decentralized finance sector, with cumulative losses exceeding $137 million, with major losses concentrated in projects such as Step Finance, Truebit, and Resolv.
