Atari Founder: Play-to-Earn Games '100% Dependent on Greater Fool Theory'



Traditional gamers have a strong disdain for crypto and NFTs due to the rise of play-to-earn games, according to Atari founder Nolan Bushnell. He said that these games are "100% dependent on the greater fool theory to work," and aren't fun for gamers. Bushnell sees the future of Web3 gaming in building convincing virtual worlds through VR and AR technology, providing a sense of real place and time.
