MrBeast-Promoted 'Creator League' Postponed After Gamers Bail Amid NFT Backlash

Esports tech firm eFuse has put its Creator League on hold and laid off 30 staff members following controversy surrounding the league's use of blockchain technology. The league, which featured big influencers like Bella Poarch and MrBeast, offered fans Community Passes tied to each gamer and influencer. Some influencers complained about the use of blockchain tech, although eFuse claimed the passes were not NFTs.
