The reason is very simple: besides Bitcoin and a few top-tier coins, 99% of the altcoins in this market are for speculation, not for investment.
Livermore’s words always haunt me: “The biggest mistake a trader makes is confusing investing with speculating.”
Many people buy a coin and comfort themselves by saying “this is value investing,” and when the price drops, they keep holding on with the excuse “it will come back.” But what’s the reality?
Fundamentals change → value disappears → project dies → token goes to 0.
Stories like this are everywhere in crypto.
That’s why I choose to play differently:
❌ No daydreaming about “long-term value”
❌ No expectation of project revival
✔ I only trade price – price action
I don’t try to guess how much a token is worth. I watch what the crowd is doing and where the money is flowing.
News? For me, it’s always… late.
Non-farm, CPI, FOMC…
You think the market only reacts after the news is released? Not at all.
Companies cut staff → Funds withdraw money → Big players sell ahead of time.
By the time the news comes out, most of the move has already run 50% or more.
That’s why I don’t let news lead the way. Before the news is out, the market has already reflected it.
Technical – Simple, Practical, and Reflects Human Nature
Technical analysis doesn’t study “intrinsic value.”
It studies psychology – expectations – repeated human behavior.

Why Do I Rarely Look at "Fundamentals – News", But Stay Loyal to Technical Analysis?

Technical – Simple, Practical, and Reflects Human Nature
Technical analysis doesn’t study “intrinsic value.”
It studies psychology – expectations – repeated human behavior.
To be blunt:
Crypto changes, technology changes, narrative changes…
But people don’t change.
Fear – greed – FOMO – panic.
When emotions are the same, price patterns repeat.
That’s why I believe in technicals.
Technical Analysis Criticized? That’s Normal
You see dozens of people selling courses, glorifying MACD, KDJ, those MA lines…
Result: using all delayed indicators, after learning, you still lose money.
That’s why many people think technical analysis is useless.
That’s okay.
Everyone has their own method, their own path.
If the approach isn’t compatible, we don’t walk together.
For me:
The market = people People = repeated behavior Repeated behavior = readable signals
Therefore, technical analysis will always be useful – as long as you understand its true nature.
