On December 2, Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, and Rob Goldstein, COO, published an article in The Economist titled “How Tokenization is Transforming Finance,” which pointed out that tokenization is shaping the next phase of global market development by modernizing infrastructure through connecting TradFi and digital finance, thereby increasing efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. Tokenization can replace paper documents with code, thus reducing the friction that leads to high and time-consuming Transaction Cost in asset trading, transforming large non-listed assets (such as real estate or infrastructure) into smaller, more accessible units. Today’s stage of tokenization development is roughly equivalent to the period when three of the “Tech Giants” had not yet been established, with a development speed comparable to that of the internet, achieving significant growth in a few decades, allowing various types of assets to be bought, sold, and held through a single digital Wallet in the future.

BlackRock: The speed of tokenization development is comparable to the early internet, and it will achieve significant rise.
