Don't remind me again today

#数字货币市场回调 Recently, the Wall Street analyst Tom Lee, known for his bold predictions, has spoken out again. This time he directly stated: US stocks are To da moon. The S&P 500 could soar to 7200-7300 points in December.

The reason he gave is quite interesting—three favorable factors have appeared simultaneously. Quantitative tightening is about to end, liquidity is coming back; fund managers have already cut losses and surrendered; and that traditional time window at the end of the year has also opened. It does sound somewhat reasonable.

However, speaking of which, when the traditional market rises, does the crypto market necessarily rise as well? I think this matter should be viewed separately.

Historically, there has indeed been a correlation effect with risky assets. If the US stock market is truly pushed up by a flood of liquidity, it will definitely boost sentiment in the crypto space. But the problem is, the current state of the crypto market is not great. The data is there—overall market inflows have plummeted by over 80%. The on-chain activity of $BTC is also very quiet. What does this indicate? It indicates that even if the external environment warms up, without internal funding support, the market cannot rise.

So for retail investors, the most important thing now is to not rush.

The first step is to observe. Keep an eye on the U.S. stock market, especially indices like the Nasdaq, which are concentrated with tech stocks. See if it can really experience a "rising tide" market. This is the barometer of the broader environment and should not be guessed blindly.

Step two, take action. If the US stock market really takes off, then look at mainstream coins like $BTC and $ETH. If the prices are still down? That might be an opportunity to enter in batches. Remember one thing: the market is currently short on cash, and funds will only flow to places with strong certainty, with mainstream coins supported by ecosystems having a higher priority.

As for altcoins, I personally think that if this round really comes, funds will likely first concentrate on Bitcoin and Ethereum. Only after the mainstream coins stabilize, will it possibly rotate to others. What do you think? If this wave of market really starts, what kind of path do you think it will take?
