Don't remind me again today

Recently, I noticed an interesting phenomenon - the two coins AVAX and SQL have a similar supply level, but their prices and market capitalizations are worlds apart.

Let's talk about the data first. The circulating supply of AVAX is about 422 million coins, with a total supply of around 457 million, and a hard cap of 720 million - which means the total amount is capped. The current price is $17.08, and the market capitalization is at the level of $10 billion. Now, what about SQL? The circulating supply is 614 million coins, but here comes the problem, its total supply is unlimited. Nevertheless, its market capitalization has surprisingly reached $100 billion, with a price soaring to $160.

The contrast is very obvious. AVAX, as the native token of the Avalanche chain, has a capped total supply, which inherently gives it a degree of scarcity. Moreover, it has indeed made some moves in the DeFi space, the ecosystem is continuously advancing, and the application scenarios are gradually expanding. These are all tangible factors that support its value.

Looking at SQL, to be frank, the market performance seems a bit inflated compared to the actual implementation. The unlimited supply means that inflationary pressure is always present, and coupled with relatively thin application scenarios, it's hard to see any substantial growth engines.

So some predict that AVAX's market capitalization may surpass SQL, which makes sense logically—one ecosystem is expanding with a limited total supply, while the other lacks clear growth points and is issuing infinitely. Of course, in the crypto space, nothing is certain. Market sentiment, regulatory policies, and technological breakthroughs—any variable could rewrite the script. Such predictions are worth listening to, but when it comes to real money entering the market, one must weigh the risks themselves.

Wait, the total amount of SQL is unlimited and it can still have a market capitalization exceeding 100 billion? That must be some strong consensus support, it's really absurd. On the AVAX side, the ecological expansion has substantial things, but the price being so pumped is indeed a bit ridiculous. In the crypto world, emotions will always be greater than fundamentals; a reversal is just a matter of time, right?

The 160 for SQL is just ridiculous, how can it maintain this price with infinite supply? It's only a matter of time before it crashes. AVAX has a capped total supply and is actually cheaper, this logic is indeed quite interesting. Wait, is this data for SQL correct? It feels a bit exaggerated. That's how the crypto world is, the fundamentals and prices never align. If it really wants to reverse, it still depends on the subsequent ecological construction; just talking without action is meaningless. The AVAX ecosystem is indeed making moves, but to say it will turn around is too optimistic. SQL's infinite issuance... it's bound to play people for suckers sooner or later. One has a ceiling while the other has infinite printing, yet the market operates in reverse; it's a typical market sentiment game. Hearing this analysis reminds me of those predictions from back in the day that were supposed to rise; what happened in the end?

Dude, this SQL data looks ridiculous, infinite supply and they can still claim a market capitalization of 100 billion? AVAX is cheap but at least it has a cap, and the ecosystem is also moving. With this kind of comparison, it will turn around sooner or later. The market is too crazy, the fundamentals are completely suppressed by emotions. I kind of want to buy the dip on AVAX but still need to take a look.

Wait, does SQL have a market capitalization of really 100 billion? Why does it feel like I've been played for suckers?

A coin with unlimited issuance can reach a market capitalization of hundreds of billions, this market is indeed absurd. Why does it feel like SQL is just flying on emotions, with the fundamentals in a complete mess? AVAX overtaking? I’m optimistic but not delusional, the crypto world has too many tricks. Once this data comparison is laid out, the differences are clear. Total supply capped vs unlimited inflation, it’s a gamble on who breaks first. SQL is currently just a bubble-blowing process, it will burst sooner or later. Institutions are speculating, retail investors are catching a falling knife, it's the old trick again. The AVAX ecosystem is indeed doing things, that's the biggest difference. Unlimited issuance still wants to maintain prices? Hilarious. Let it overtake if it can, but in the long run, it must return to fundamentals.

ngl the unlimited supply on SQL is giving major red flags here... analyzed the tokenomics and that inflation mechanism is basically a ticking time bomb waiting to happen
