You know that restless feeling when markets are quiet? That itch to open a position just because you're sitting there doing nothing? Stop. Right there.
Some of the worst trades happen when you're not trading a setup—you're trading your mood. Bored scrolling turns into impulsive clicking. And impulsive clicking? That's how accounts get wrecked.
The market doesn't care if you're entertained. Patience pays. Boredom doesn't.

watched too many liquidations from bored degenerates to not say it—this hits different when you've actually seen the math play out. empirically speaking, every account blowup I've predicted started exactly like this. the itch to "do something" is fundamentally flawed decision-making dressed up as activity.

I just said, how many people's accounts got liquidated because of this nonsense. Just bored and want to take action.

You are absolutely right, I got liquidated because I was too idle.

You're right, but I've observed that what retail investors love to do the most is this - they open positions out of boredom, and once they do, it blows up.

Sitting still and wanting to enter a position, this mindset can indeed easily blow an account.

Those who enter a position out of boredom while sitting have long lost their account.
Boredom is not a trading strategy.
