Don't remind me again today

How big is the gap between TradFi giants and retail investors? Just take a look at this asset management company that manages $13 trillion in assets.

BlackRock has over a thousand funds, but the most profitable project right now is actually their Bitcoin ETF. Even the head of BlackRock Brazil didn't expect this: "We were quite optimistic when we launched, but we really didn't expect the scale to explode like this."

Just look at a few numbers and you'll understand—

Their spot Bitcoin ETF in the U.S. ( IBIT ) reached a scale of 70.7 billion USD in just 341 days. This speed is the fastest in history. With a net inflow of 52 billion USD in one year, it has outpaced all newly issued ETFs in the past decade. Just from management fees, they can earn nearly 250 million USD in a year. Even more outrageous, they already hold more than 3% of the total supply of Bitcoin.

BlackRock is also quietly increasing its stake, with its funds raising their holdings in IBIT by 14%. Institutions are putting real money on the line; do you think they are optimistic?

Recently, the market has indeed seen fluctuations, with funds coming in and out, but their mindset is very stable: "ETFs are designed to facilitate the flow of funds." This situation clearly shows the difference in levels.

TradFi is starting to go all in on cryptocurrencies, isn't that signal clear enough?

BlackRock is buying the dip in Bitcoin, while retail investors are still struggling with whether to enter a position; this gap is truly remarkable.

ngl, ibit's inflow mechanics are sus tho... 3% of total bitcoin supply concentrated in one entity? that's some serious counter-party risk we should be talking about. seen this movie before with bridge TVL migration patterns – looks safe until liquidity gets fragmented and suddenly you're underwater on slippage. but yeah, institutions betting real capital speaks volumes fr
