Don't remind me again today

Recently, while keeping an eye on the market, I suddenly realized something: memes come and go quickly, so why can't they support long term?

In simple terms, what’s lacking is a reason to keep playing continuously. Look at those projects that are propped up by community sentiment; once the hype fades, they cool down completely. To truly survive, there needs to be a solid incentive mechanism—one that encourages early players to stay and shows later participants the value of getting involved.

This design approach that combines short-term narratives with long-term strategies may be the direction that the meme sector should explore. After all, relying solely on slogans and pump-and-dump schemes has long been seen through by the market.

To put it simply, there still needs to be a solid reason to stay, relying solely on community sentiment is already outdated.

You are right, pure emotional trading indeed doesn't last long, but the problem is that most project parties haven't figured out how to build this incentive mechanism at all. Every day they brag about community governance, but in the end, it's still Be Played for Suckers and Rug Pull. It's actually rare to find those with long-term design.

To be honest, community sentiment is like fireworks, beautiful but not lasting long, there's nothing wrong with that. The incentive mechanism is the key; without it, don't expect to survive long term. The old trick of pumping and shouting slogans is indeed outdated; the market has long been immune to that. I feel that for a meme project to truly survive, there must be some real substance behind it.
