Been looking into Pacifica lately—it's a perps DEX with some interesting FTX connections. What caught my attention though? Pacific Tides just dropped as the first trading bot built specifically for their ecosystem. The whole concept is straightforward: perpetual futures trading without leaving your desk. Automated execution on a decentralized platform. Could be worth exploring if you're into perps and not big on manual trading. The infrastructure's still young, but the combo of DEX-native bots and perpetual contracts feels like where things are heading anyway.

Automated trading with perps bot? To be honest, I'm a bit tempted, but I'm afraid it's just a new way to Be Played for Suckers.

Looking at this thing called Pacifica... the background with FTX is a bit complex, but the Pacific Tides bot is indeed fresh, automated perpetuals really save effort.

Pacific Tides sounds good, but the association with FTX is still a bit hard to bear...

ngl Pacifica this trap is a bit interesting, but that history with FTX really needs to be looked at again, don't let it happen again.

Automated trading Bots for perpetual contracts? This thing needs to calculate the escape velocity well, otherwise a pullback will directly plunge into the atmosphere.

The perps bot is quite interesting, but the FTX background still makes me a bit uncomfortable...

It should be noted that such projects often fall into a fundamental fallacy of argumentation—equating automation with Decentralization. Pacific Tides may seem sophisticated, but it is merely replicating the illusion of convenience found in CeFi. The on-chain data will speak for itself.

The automation of Perpetual Futures should have been addressed long ago, and Pacifica has managed to hit the node this time.
