Don't remind me again today

After struggling in the crypto market for a long time, #数字资产市场观察 has realized a few key things that those who truly survive have understood.

Price surges and plummets? That's just the game rules. You need to learn to coexist with the volatility, rather than being tormented by emotions while staring at the market every day. Do you feel your mindset crumble when you see others flaunting their profits? That's the most dangerous signal—everyone's capital, entry timing, and risk tolerance are completely different; blindly comparing yourself will only lead you to make wrong decisions at the wrong time.

When the market is in a hot rotation, don't try to catch everything. Instead of chasing every trend, it's better to focus your energy on "how to withstand black swans." The market is always crazier than you can imagine, predicting tops and bottoms is essentially a metaphysical endeavor, but establishing your own risk hedging system is achievable.

Humans are naturally inclined to focus on bad news, but over a longer period, you will find that the infrastructure of the crypto world has been improving, and the application scenarios are also expanding. Short-term pessimism can obscure these long-term trends.

There are also two underrated weapons: compound interest and savings rate. Small funds can achieve far greater power through reasonable allocation and long-term rolling than a fantasy of getting rich quickly. A stable cash flow reserve allows you to act calmly when opportunities arise, rather than being forced to sell at a loss when prices are low.

Ultimately, what is the ultimate purpose of making money? It is to exchange for the freedom of choice — the freedom to work, the freedom of time, and the freedom of lifestyle. Once you understand this, many actions will not become distorted.

Really, watching the market is the most torturous thing. Right now, I just set a stop loss and take profit, then turn around and walk away.

Wow, you are so right, it really is a mindset issue. I used to stare at the charts every day at the beginning, but later I realized that it was just self-inflicted suffering. Compound interest in this area is indeed underestimated, and sticking to DCA really works wonders, as long as you live long enough. Seeing others show their profits can easily make one explode in mindset, but thinking about it, they might have ten times the capital you do. That last part hit home, freedom is the ultimate pursuit, worth more than any doubling.

ngl the "risk hedging primitives" angle is what actually separates survivors from liquidated accounts... most people just don't model their portfolio composition like a smart contract would lol

It sounds good, but when I was Rekt, I didn't think so much, only thinking about buy the dip, buy the dip, buy the dip... Now I understand that the real enemy is not the market maker, but my own greed.

Really, what I fear the most is when my fren talks to me every day about how much he made yesterday, and then I start making irrational moves... Now I understand, that's a precursor to a mindset explosion. Compound interest is truly amazing, but it really tests human nature. Most people can't hold on for half a year and start thinking about a big bet. The key is to have cash reserves; only then can you dare to buy at the bottom. Otherwise, being forced to cut loss will really make you emo.
