COMMODITY FUTURES TRADING COMMISSION (CFTC) INVITE CEO TO APPLY FOR THE CRYPTO INNOVATION BOARD
🔸 Chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Caroline Pham, calls for nominations for the CEO of the "CFTC CEO Innovation Council" with a deadline for submissions on December 8.
🔸 Under the leadership of Ms. Pham, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission has promoted innovations in market structure and crypto, such as Crypto CEO Forum prediction markets, perpetual contracts trading 24/7, spot crypto trading, tokenized collateral, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure.
🔸 Ms. Pham stated that the U.S. is entering a "golden era of innovation" and needs CEOs to lead the establishment of a legal framework for crypto and digital assets that both protects investors and promotes innovation.
🔸 The public can nominate individuals to the council along with detailed information about the nominee's qualifications and the policy issues that should be prioritized.
