#TRUMP According to GasLimit.pics data, the Ethereum community, driven by decentralized finance (DeFi) users and developers, has increased the block gas limit from 45 million to 60 million. Ethereum Foundation researcher Toni Wahrstätter announced on the X forum that this is the result of a year-long effort by the community, achieving a doubling of the gas limit within a year. This adjustment will take effect automatically on November 25, with more than half of the validators voting in agreement, in accordance with Ethereum's current consensus rules.
