Don't remind me again today

Recently, @SentientAGI has been quite popular and well-received, primarily due to its usability and convenience. In my opinion, the biggest highlights are its Open Source nature and practicality. Most projects on the market are quite limited. Take Deepseek as an example; although the project is Open Source, it is still under company control. Bittensor, as a pioneer in Open Source, has a market capitalization of over $6 billion, but lacks practicality and a real product and user base.

Sentient is different; it builds a decentralized AGI framework that achieves the collaboration of agents, models, and computation through GRID, truly transforming open source into a sustainable ecological force. Specifically, Sentient's innovative products include ROMA and ODS. ROMA outperforms Perplexity and Gemini 2.5 in performance and ranks first on GitHub, becoming a favored open-source tool among developers. ODS is a search framework specifically designed for agents, outperforming GPT-o3 mini and DeepSeek, highlighting Sentient's leading position in the search and agent field. It funds AI development through an emission mechanism and generates real income streams. Users have voting rights, and ecological participants share profits, establishing a sustainable business model for Sentient from the very beginning. Unlike Bittensor's validator-miner model, Sentient emphasizes growth driven by real users and products, ensuring that open source is not just an idea, but a quantifiable value.

Bittensor started with a FDV of $5 billion and now has a market capitalization of $6-9 billion, but lacks practicality; Perplexity's valuation has soared to $18 billion, and its closed model limits ecosystem and user expansion; Sentient positions itself as the "ultimate player" in the Open Source arena: it inherits the decentralized spirit of Bittensor while surpassing its shortcomings in products and revenue; it draws on the excellent research of closed laboratories but amplifies community effects in an open source form.

For a project to develop sustainably in the long term, it mainly needs to have its own core source of income, and Sentient's core income comes from multiple sources:
1) Paid Access: Sentient Chat will charge enterprises and developers for usage after public release, with revenue flowing directly back to the model contributors.
2) Token Economy: After the $SENT token goes live, holders can stake on models or services they are interested in to earn profit distribution based on actual usage.
3) Value-added services: enterprise-level custom models, exclusive computing power leasing, compliance audits, and other value-added services.

Sentient has currently gathered over 100 Web2 and Web3 partners, covering areas such as agency, data, models, computation, and verifiable AI. GRID is an open "intelligent kernel," similar to the revolutionary role of Linux in the operating system field. In terms of AGI, its research team has achieved the acceptance of 4 papers at NeurIPS 2025, on par with Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic. This is not just an academic achievement but a guarantee of technological implementation. With the arrival of the AGI wave, Sentient's GRID will attract more developers, data, and capital, forming a positive feedback loop. It is expected that in the next 1-2 years, its ecosystem market capitalization will easily exceed $10 billion, becoming a benchmark "unicorn" in open-source AI. More importantly, Sentient's success will reshape the AI landscape: shifting from elite monopoly to mass empowerment, promoting the symbiosis between humans and intelligence.

Of course, Sentient's lineup is known as the "dream team" in the AI field. 70% of the team members are world-class AI researchers, graduates from top institutions such as Princeton University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Indian Institute of Science, and the University of Washington, and have worked at giants like Google, Meta, and Microsoft. Core members include Princeton University professor Pramod Viswanath (the inventor of 4G LTE), Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal, IISc professor Himanshu Tyagi, and University of Washington professor Sewoong Oh (former Stanford/MIT/Google researcher). The addition of these experts not only brings cutting-edge research but also ensures Sentient's continuous innovation in the Open Source AGI field.

In terms of financing, it is also impeccable. In July 2024, Sentient completed a $85 million financing round led by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund (the largest venture capital firm in Silicon Valley, USA), with other investors including Pantera Capital and Dragonfly Capital.

Sentient AGI is building a decentralized platform that promises to challenge the current AI monopoly through its unique Open Source AGI positioning, world-class research team, expanding ecosystem, and strong financial support. With the rapid development of the AI market and the growing demand for Open Source alternatives, Sentient is poised to replicate Linux's success in the operating system space, becoming the infrastructure of the AGI era. Its "Linux of AI" positioning is not just a marketing slogan, but a strategic vision based on solid technical strength and ecosystem development.
