Golden Finance reports that asset management firm CoinShares withdrew its application for a Solana stake exchange-traded fund (ETF) submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday.
According to documents submitted to the SEC, the proposed fund's structured transactions and asset acquisitions were never completed. The document states: “The registration statement is intended to register shares proposed to be issued in connection with a transaction that ultimately did not complete. No shares were sold under the aforementioned registration statement, nor will any shares be sold.”
