A Layer2 do ecossistema Sony lança uma stablecoin ecológica, acompanhada de incentivos em pontos para atrair utilizadores

[Chain News] Traditional tech giants are making new moves in the Web3 space. Startale Group recently issued a stablecoin called USDSC, specifically designed to serve the Soneium Layer2 chain.

What is Soneium? Last year, Sony and Startale formed a joint venture called Sony Block Solutions Labs, which launched this Ethereum Layer 2 network. Now, USDSC is set to play a central role in this ecosystem—whether for payments, rewards, or other application scenarios, they plan to use it as the default digital dollar.

On the technical side, USDSC is built on M0’s infrastructure. M0 is a startup focused on a modular programmable stablecoin platform, with a fairly solid technical foundation.

Even more interesting is the accompanying incentive model. Startale has simultaneously launched the STAR points rewards system: you can earn points by minting or holding USDSC, by completing tasks within applications, and by interacting with various decentralised applications through the Startale App (which you can think of as the mobile gateway to the Soneium ecosystem).

This multi-pronged approach has a very clear goal—to keep users circulating within the Soneium ecosystem through stablecoin + points incentives. Traditional giants doing Web3 are definitely taking a different path.
