It seems that every week there's a new crypto rumor promising to make you rich overnight. This time, everyone is talking about Cristiano Ronaldo supposedly preparing his own CR7 meme coin. Sounds exciting, right? The problem is, nothing has been confirmed. Neither Ronaldo nor his team have said a word about it.

What's interesting is that the speculation probably originated from his collaboration with a trading platform where he launched a limited NFT collection. But that's completely unrelated to creating a meme token. However, in a $4 trillion market, rumors spread faster than a Ronaldo goal, and scammers are already ready to take advantage.

Look at what happened with Kanye West's token recently: it skyrocketed in minutes and then all collapsed. Now, con artists are using the same game with Ronaldo. There are already several fake tokens like CR7DAO and Ronaldo Coin, but none are genuinely connected to the footballer. An analyst documented how a promoted 'Ronaldo Coin' reached $100 million in market cap within minutes. The end? A classic rug pull: the promoters drained everything and disappeared.

An investor summarized it on social media: only those with early access are making money. If you don't have insider information, you're probably going to lose.

The harsh reality is: Cristiano Ronaldo is not launching any CR7 meme. What does exist is a wave of scammers using his name to lure naive investors into fraudulent projects. If you see something like that, always verify the official source. Remember, in crypto, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don’t let scammers score an own goal on you.
