Although XRP price has decreased by 10% over the past month, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) is actively developing institutional on-chain finance. Robinson Burkey, co-founder of Wormhole Foundation, pointed out that XRPL has established a strong developer community and DeFi tools, but he emphasized the importance of interoperability. Wormhole's protocol connects XRPL with other networks to enable cross-chain asset transfers and liquidity sharing, which helps institutional adoption of tokenized real-world assets and stablecoins, such as RLUSD. The five US spot XRP ETFs launched in November 2025 have accumulated net inflows of approximately $1.26 billion, further confirming strong institutional interest.
