How BTC Dominance Has Shifted in July 2025
July 1: ~65.5%
Today (mid-July): approximately **64.5–64.6%**
The change has been minimal (~1%), not the steep drop usually associated with a full-blown alt-season.
This slight dip suggests some capital is filtering into altcoins, but Bitcoin still holds the majority of market cap.
A true “Altcoin Season” generally kicks in when BTC dominance drops below ~60%, often dipping as low as 40–50%. That hasn't happened yet .
