GAO Backs Congressional Review of SEC's Crypto Bulletin

US Senator Cynthia Lummis Secured a GAO Decision

Cynthia Lummis, a US senator, has achieved another victory for crypto. Staff Accounting Bulletin 121 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) should be subject to congressional review, according to the GAO.

According to GAO, it satisfied the requirements for Congressional Review Act (CRA) review. The bulletin had drawn censure from pro-crypto lawmakers, released in March 2022.
